In addition to working in the Korean journalism world, he previously worked at Google on the Stadia team, as well in Korean esports.
Today, Jason heads Popsori as a creative agency focused on Asian pop culture. He works with music brands, video game labels, anime conventions in collaborating K-pop with these companies. He works alongside music labels as a data analyst to help them guide their business decisions.
Lastly, he works as a content creator, creating YouTube videos on the history, business, and industry side of K-pop.
Jason also mentors college students and 9-to-5 employees looking to do a career transition into Korean pop culture. He helps both groups in how to break into the K-pop industry as a journalist, PR, marketer, and data scientist.
In the end, Jason wants to grow Korean pop culture in the West. He aims to bridge the gap between Western and Asian entertainment.
